Pastor Chad was privileged to grow up in a Christian home, and to have parents that were extremely dedicated to serving at Calvary Baptist Church, Oshawa. It was through the ministry of Calvary and the dedication of his parents that at the age of 5 he received Christ as his personal savior.
About half way through high school, he started to work on an award for Christian Service Brigade called ‘the Herald of Christ’. It was through this achievement that he felt the call of God on his life to attend Bible School and to pursue full time ministry. Chad holds a Bachelor of Bible/Theology from Moody Bible Institute, an MDiv from Grace Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando.
Chad served at Maplehill Baptist Church in Keswick for the past 20 years, first as the youth pastor and then the lead pastor. He and his wife Shelley have seven children: Kaylee (18), Acacia (15), Kezia (12), Jessica (11), Brice (10), Ava (2) and Alex (1).
In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, snowboarding, and photography. However more than those pastimes, he enjoys studying and sharing the truth of God’s word and walking alongside His people as a pastor.
Ben joined our team in 2007, fresh out of Bible College. He grew up in a pastor’s home and loves the church. For Ben, youth ministry is about making disciples, and training and equipping them for the work of the ministry
Ben, his wife Naomi, and their son, Charlie, love sports, hiking, canoeing, camping, and pretty much anything that gets them outside. They also happen to be Habs fans, but don’t hold that against them.
Ben earned his B.A. in Youth Ministry at Moody Bible Institute and is currently working on his MTS at Heritage Seminary in Cambridge.
If you have any questions about our youth program please don’t hesitate to give Ben a call or drop him an email. He would love to hear from you.
Caroline joined our team in 2014 and has brought some new and fresh approaches to our Sunday morning worship. She is a graduate of Visible Music College in Memphis Tennessee, but was born and raised in nearby Fenelon Falls.
Caroline loves the outdoors, horses, art, and taking pictures. In fact, if you are looking for a great photographer for an event, you may want to consider Caroline.
If you have any questions regarding the music ministry at FBC or would like to be part of it, contact Caroline and she would love to talk.
